Yin Tin (Miki) Chen is a Taiwanese artist and visual art educator based in New York City. Her work End the Stigma of Mental Health is inspired by her cultural background and the experience growing up with her sister, who suffered from depression. Miki holds a B.A. from the National Taipei University of Education and an M.A. from New York University.
Through papercutting and watercolor, she creates work showcasing her recognition of mental illness and sharing different views of mental health through other people's personal stories.
